While all conservation organizations have been forced by a hostile political climate to devote time and financial resources to defend conservation gains made over the last 40 years, we must also ensure that our efforts to preserve wilderness continue uninterrupted in perpetuity. Therefore, with an eye on the future of protecting America’s precious wilderness areas, we are embarking on a major gifts campaign to generate long-term permanent funding for our most important projects.
