General Purpose and Scope of Position:

This position assists in managing cash flow through efficient and accurate payables and is responsible for the execution and management of a precise, efficient, and cost-effective payables function. Identifies and researches discrepancies in Accounts Payable and makes appropriate adjustments to resolve these discrepancies. Maintains desk processes and controls for an efficient customer-centric focused approach to meet internal customer, external vendor, and business requirements.

• A detailed understanding of the Accounts Payable process and workflow of the Division's transaction processing flow, particularly regarding Accounts Payable.
• Ability to investigate and analyze problems and use sound business-based judgment to resolve issues efficiently.

Specific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:

• Efficiently apply payables.
• Ensure that vendors are paid based on JDE terms.
• Utilize JDE Payables applications & reporting to maximize AP efficiency.
• Work through discrepancies in AP with suppliers and branches.
• Utilize the Document Imaging System to effectively scan, validate, and post AP invoices.
• Process and complete necessary AP reports daily, weekly, monthly, and annual.
• Research open accruals and payables to resolve discrepancies with suppliers and marketing assistants.
• Must be able to travel into the office 1 - 2 days a week.

Compensation and Benefits:

• In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $21.44 - $28.63 hr. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, retirement plans, and other benefits.
